About Us
There is no such thing as About us
My name is Wilfredo H. Pineda. I was a business person based in Palatine IL. My life was working and working and working and so on (a workaholic), until one day the government of the United States decided that it was time to make changes in my life without asking me.
In my mind, my world was about making money, paying payroll every Friday, making my both companies grow, creating a reputation for me and the companies, perhaps making a family. Somehow, I forgot about GOD.
When I was arrested, all I was worry about, was the production of my clients and have them on time. Collecting and continue with my life.
The first two days when I was arreste, I was in COOCOO LAND calling collect to my office and directing where to buy ink, plaint shirts, raw material, and so on. Basically, I was disconnected from my reality
Perhaps when I mentally landed, it was a week later. Disoriented and without help. Being in federal prison, (about eight months later) I learned that once I was arrested, I should have demanded a lawyer. If I was focused, I had the money to secure a lawyer for fifty grand. I had my check book with me.
I was not a criminal, I didn’t intent to hurt anybody, that is why I could not focus in defending myself.
When I was back in El Salvador, I was mentally tired because I was fighting against the system. Then I noticed that GOD should have been first in my life, then my family, then my work. I didn’t try to rebuilt Publi-Ser and / or Asi es America.
I was physically sick already loosing my left foot due to an accident in Federal Prison.
Twenty-five years passed. I didn’t say a word about what happed to me in the United States. I closed the chapter for good. I was mentally ill. There was a year that I got medically disconnected from reality. One complete year that I was hospitalized at ISSS. It took me about fifteen years to get it over with.
NORMA contacted me this year 2025 (26 years after the last time I saw her for the last time.) to let me know that my son passed away. I didn’t have the chance to meet him. He was a twenty-five years old young and handsome adult when he was killed. Every day of my life hurts me very much.
Now I have decided to tell the people of USA how corrupt is the justice system in the northern district of Illinois.
